The Internet thinks Hailey Bieber's new tattoo on her neck, behind her ear, is about Taylor Swift.
The design of Hailey Bieber's new tattoo closely resembled Taylor Swift’s new album “Lover”. In an Instagram post, overnight celebrity tattoo artist Dr Woo shared a photo of Hailey’s slim needle neck tattoo, tagged her in it, and captioned the post “Love always wins”.
Swifties immediately noticed its similarity with Taylor’s new album cover, which used the same cursive font. Fans commented on the Instagram photo, referencing the connection. One fan wrote “Taylor swift inspired??” Another said “a closeted stan, I see stream Lover by Taylor Swift” while one fan commented “Interesting choice since she came for our girl @taylorswift”.
This follows the drama that went down a few months ago between Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, and music manager Scooter Braun. The issue was that Scooter wanted to purchase the rights to Taylor’s music backlog but Taylor objected and wrote a blog about how Scooter was a bully. Justin defended Scooter via Instagram and called out Taylor in the process.
However, another Instagram post by Dr Woo showed that another client has used a similar design back in April. This was long before Taylor launched her album in August.
While there’s a possibility that Hailey is actually a fan of Taylor Swift, there are other possible reasons she got the “lover” tattoo. One of these is that Hailey and Justin will be celebrating their first wedding anniversary in less than two weeks and this could actually be referring to her husband.
Another possibility is that Hailey could have come across the design while browsing through Dr Woo’s Instagram posts looking for an inspiration for her next tattoo.
Whatever Hailey’s true motivation for getting the tattoo, people on the Internet can’t help but speculate on these things.
