Everyone, even celebrities, cannot be completely protected from the coronavirus. Tom Hanks and his wife, Rita Wilson, have been diagnosed with coronavirus.

Some celebrities have expressed their thoughts and feelings about the rising cases of coronavirus throughout the world.

Lady Gaga on Instagram revealed that she talked to doctors and scientists. She encourages her followers to do a self-quarantine and not hang out with people over 65 and in big groups. “It’s not the easiest for everyone right now but the kindest/healthiest thing we can do is self-quarantine,” she said.

“I wish I could see my parents and grandmas right now but it’s much safer to not so I don’t get them sick in case I have it. I’m hanging at home with my dogs,” she added.

Justin Bieber admits he could not imagine the disease effecting his wife, family, and friends. He expressed his support to China. “We stand with you as a collective humanity and have made a donation to support. Whether it be this or the fires of Australia we all need to be there for each other.”

In a Tweet, John Legend asked people to cancel non-essential events. “u start to realize how much we schedule that's non-essential.  Of course, what we do is critical to human joy, inspiration, etc, but our entire entertainment industry is full of individually non-essential events.”

Meanwhile, Alicia Keys expressed some positivity in her Tweet. “Just a reminder to keep your energy high.Theres a lot going on but take care of yourself, love on your family, and remind yourself to take a deep breath and stay calm. Don’t forget that I love u.”

Brandi Carlile posted a video on Instagram, encouraging people to “look out for your neighbors and vulnerable people who aren’t squared away. Don’t put others at risk but there’s a balance. Running to the store for someone who’s high risk can be massively impactful. So are prayers.”

Moreover, Taylor Swift urged her fans to not take the situation lightly and to make social sacrifices. “This is the time to cancel plans, actually truly isolate as much as you can, and don’t assume that just because you don’t feel sick that you aren’t possibly passing something on to someone elderly or vulnerable to this.”
